- The weather balloon will reach a height greater than 60,000 ft.
For mid-latitude locations, the Stratosphere begins at an altitude of about 10-12 miles (52800 ft - 63360 ft).
We want our balloon to make it into the Stratosphere.
- Capture images of the Earth from high altitudes.
- Measure temperature, pressure, altitude, humidity, wind speed during flight.
- Measure radiation levels in space.
- Track and retrieve the payload.
