Goals

Weather Balloon Project Goals – 2018-2019

1. The balloon will reach an altitude of 100,000 ft. (about 19 miles)

2. We will be determine relationships between altitude, temperature,

pressure, humidity, and wind speed.

3. How does temperature affect the strength of a magnet?

4. We will measure the effectiveness of how well a medicine bottle protects its contents from UV radiation.

6. We will measure radiation levels at high altitudes.

7. We will capture video and still images of the curvature of the Earth.

8. We will successfully use APRS to track and retrieve the equipment.
